What is LINC?

LINC is about being and making disciples of all nations for Christ.

Invest your summer for God's glory while living and serving with 39 other college students from various local churches and campus ministries. Together, you will come alongside a team of families and young people to be the public catalyst for the Vintage Faith Community worship gathering and community ministries. For eight weeks, you will live in the Summer LINC community, rubbing shoulders with pastors and other Christian leaders. You will experience regular Bible teaching, mentoring relationships, evangelism, and see a new worship gathering form. During the week, you will have a job where you will learn to do ministry in the marketplace by influencing your co-workers for Christ. The entire church plant team for Vintage Faith Community will be working alongside you to reach the local campuses (USF St. Pete, St. Pete College, and Eckerd College) and the downtown St Petersburg community for Christ. Make your summer count and become better equipped to return to your local church and make an impact for Christ!

God is passionate about all people coming to a saving knowledge of Him. In Acts 1:8 Jesus says,

"You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both In Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth."

The nations are clearly on God's heart, His desire is that you would join with Him as He draws people to Himself. Because of His heart for people, Jesus tells His followers in Matthew 9:37-38,

"The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few. Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest."

It's because of this request that we want you to consider LINC. Will you choose to be laborer?
